Learn the secrets of growing organic lettuce at home with Jim Pepin of Maggie’s Farm. Select from an abundance of fresh, produce and cheeses for making your own salads at home and pick up a bag of gourmet Croutons from Bantam Bread. Today, the market welcomes Ariston Specialties of Bloomfield, purveyor of fine olive oils.
The market is held June through October, every Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm, now in a new location on the grounds of the Nathan Hale Homestead located in Coventry at 2299 South Street. Surrounded by over 500 acres of forest and picturesque rural landscape, the Hale Farm provides a gracious backdrop for this vibrant farmers’ market.
